Through three double portraits, the film shows how a young generation of Dutch with Indonesian roots deals with their origins. How they cherish it and look for traditional Indonesian traditions and customs and turn them into something new. They mix their dual origins with ease and try to bring two cultures together. They seek collaboration with Indonesian entrepreneurs, creating a new cultural cross-pollination between Indonesian and Dutch elements.
